Who is Hugo Hammond?

Hugo Hammond, the style that every Islander supporters want to know, is a 24 years old British celebrity born in the city of Hampshire, England. Supported in his hometown, Hammond had his club-foot disease since his birth which he has been collectively with now for whole two decades & more. Hammond said himself while inquiring about his conditions, “I had lots of surgeries when I was a kid. You can only really understand when I walk barefoot. I’ve got a really short Achilles heel & walk slightly on my tiptoes.” Besides, he is enamored of all sports and always needed to inspire and pass on the interest to young generations to be physically active.

Hugo Hammond has remained a PE teacher for many years, the job he appreciates the most. Through his teaching, he needs to inspire all the young generation people to get more further into sports. 

Apart from his teaching profession, he is also a cricketer & had played for the England PD(Physical-Disability) team. With his side, he’s traveled all over the world serving his country. When asked what he takes for a living he said; ‘I’ve been to Bangladesh, Dubai, I’ve been everywhere to perform cricket,’ while also noting how much he enjoys his job as a PE teacher.

What is Club-foot?

Club-foot, the disease Hugo Hammond was born with, is a situation where a baby has his or her foot faces inwards or even under. It is an odd case that occurs in around 1 in 1,000 children born in England which is more prevalent in boys than in girls. 

This condition can affect one or both feet, usually diagnosed in the belly during pregnancy, and physicians consider it’s genetic because it goes in families. There are multiple ways to solved Club-foot which include early treatment & physiotherapy and it usually isn’t severe. 

Hugo has the same circumstance of club-foot for which he even went through several surgeries when he was a kid. His condition isn’t painful taking which he has been walking on in his life for a total of 24 years. He indeed is an inspiration for all of the people sustaining from club-foot.
