About InstaShop
InstaShop is a growing on-demand grocery shopping app that connects consumers with vendors and retailers in the Middle East. The company was founded by entrepreneurs John Tsioris and Ioanna Angelidaki in 2015. Based out of Dubai, the emerging grocery marketplace was acquired by Berlin-based Delivery Hero in 2020. There are currently more than 500,000 users in five markets. Besides UAE, the services are available in Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain, and Greece. Not just groceries, the platform facilitates orders for food, home supplies, pharmacy, and flowers. It partners with 1,500+ vendors, so customers can order everything needed for home without having to venture out.
To start shopping, download the the InstaShop app for Android or iOS. Once installed, register your mobile and select your location where you need goods delivered. You can enter your city or pin code to shop from outlets near you. You can choose to shop from a specific supermarket or browse the catalog by category or keyword. Popular supermarkets featured include Union Coop, Almaya, Zoom, Metro, Spar, Aswaaq, and Spinneys. Shopping can be done in a jiff by adding items to the cart.
