Jorge Lorenzo is an acknowledged Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer who famously gained popularity at a very tender age after five world championship achievements. Lorenzi proceeded on to win the 2006 and 2007 250cc World Championships. Moreover, he is also a three-time champion of the Moto GP. He declared his retirement from the game on 14th November 2019, at the age of 32.

On 4th May 1987, Jorge Lorenzo was born as Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero in Palma, on the famous Balearic island of Mallorca, Spain. He was actually born to parents Jose Manuel Lorenzo(dad) and Maria Guerrero(mum). As of 2021, his age is 34. Jorge first rode a motorbike at the tender age of three that his father had developed for him.

He later began participating in mini cross races and acquired his first race in Mallorca in the early years of eight. He won the late 1995 Balearic medal competing versus older rivals.

Furthermore, he also won the trial, minimoto, Island’s mini cross, and junior motocross trophies. In late 1997, he began competing in national championships and won the Aprilia 50cc Cup in 1998.

In early 2007, he signed a two-year contract with Yamaha and became the Italian racer Valentino Rossi’s companion for the early 2008 MotoGP season. He completed his first-ever Premier Class race in the runers-up position. He got his first victory in the 3rd round to become the most junior MotoGP rider in history to complete the first three races on the podium.

After several damages during the remains of the 2008 season, which made him to miss one race, he still succeeded in making a good number of podium endings. In the end, he achieved 4th.

In the 2009 season, he had a tight battle with Rossi, who would finally surpass his four achievements with two more to complete first. Rossi worked hard to keep a piece of considerable information, but Lorenzo won following Rossi’s collision with Honda racer Márquez in the penultimate round.

In late 2017, he contracted with Ducati. Ducati did not prove to be a prosperous move for Lorenzo.
