Soon following graduation, she spent two years serving in the French Alps and enjoying snow sports.
Then in January of 2007, she joined Met Office. There, she first completed her forecaster education at the Met Office College and then went to the Met Office headquarters in Exeter city, Devon, England, to serve as a weather forecaster.
