Cash App Option
To send money through the Cash app option, first, input how much cash you want to send. In this step, You must enter a min of at least $1 and then tap on the “pay” button. Next, select the person or business you’re sending this money to. You can just use the person’s name, their $Cashtag (a unique name that Cash App users can create on sign up), or the mobile phone number which is connected to the receiver’s Cash account.
Applicable Fees: Cash app does not charge anything to send money from all debit accounts, but does charge you, the sender, a 3% charge if you use a credit card.
To send money on Cash via a browser, you will need to know the straight Cash.me URL of your receiver (i.e. Cash.me/$cashtag). Once you are logged in there, you can pay the recipient whether or not you have a Cash account.
Open the iMessage on your Apple device, and then tap the Apps icon above your keyboard. When the prompt pops up on the screen, enter the amount of money you want to send and then tap “pay” (at this stage, you also have the choice to tap “app” to use the Cash app on your Apple device instead).
You can also decide whether or not to add a “gift wrap” to your payment pack, which would cover the amount you’ve sent til the recipient opens it from their end. Then pick the bank account, debit or credit card which you want to use to send the payment and add an optional comment or note to complete your payment process. Your account is charged when you choose your preferred payment option.

Waiting time for deposits
Square Cash can deposit money at two different speeds: standard or instant transfer. If you select the standard deposit option, the deposit may take up to three business days for the deposit to reflect in your bank account. It may take even longer if the banks are not operational on a national holiday or during the weekend.
If you select the instant transfer option, you will be charged a 1.5% of the total deposit amount to have the funds deposited to your bank account instantly. Deposits will arrive on your bank statement either with the prefix SQC* or with the name of the person who assigned you money.
Cash app money transfer limits
Sending limit: maximum of $2,500 per week
You will have to verify your name, your date of birth, and the last four digits as appear on your SSN before you can send more than a total of $250 in one week. After you confirm your information, the weekly money sending limit bumps up to a max of $2,500.
Receiving Limit: none
You will be required to verify your name, your date of birth, and the last four digits of your SSN before you can receive over $1,000 in a time span of 30 days. After you confirm your account, there is no limit on the total amount of money you can receive on Cash app.
